The contract between MDI Energia SA and the special purpose company PGB Energetyka 20 sp. z o. o. concerns the construction of an agricultural biogas heat and power plant in Chorzele in the Chorzele commune. The installation's capacity will be 0.999 MW.
The term of the contract is 7 months. The contract value is 15.9 million PLN net.
This is another contract for the implementation of a biogas plant by MDI Energia for a company belonging to the Polish Biogas Group.
Last month, MDI Energia informed about a contract for the construction of a biogas plant with a capacity of 0.999 MW in Gołoszyce, in the commune of Baćkowice, for the company PGB Energetyka 17 sp. z o. o. The contract value is 16 million PLN net.
A higher value of 16.96 million PLN for the contract signed by MDI Energia also last month with PGB Energetyka 11 sp. z o. o. which concerns the construction of a biogas plant with a capacity of 0.999 MW in the town of Młyny in the commune of Radymno.
Earlier this year, the company also contracted the construction of a biogas plant with the same capacity for PGB Energetyka 5 sp. z o. o. This investment will be constructed in Przyborowice in the commune of Gubin. The contract value is 15.57 million PLN.
These biogas plants are among the projects for which the Polish Biogas Group successfully secured 15-year guarantees of energy sales in an auction conducted by the Energy Regulatory Office in November 2018.
MDI Energia has so far completed 11 biogas plants, and 7 more are to be under construction. The company assures that no company in Poland has contracted so many biogases power plants.
The company also specializes in the construction of other renewable energy sources, including wind and photovoltaic power plants.
In the field of photovoltaics this year the company acquired a project valued at 350 thousand PLN net contract for the design and construction of a photovoltaic installation for the company Orlen Aviation Sp. z o. o
In 2020, MDI Energia generated revenues of 179 million PLN, recording a net profit of approx. 100 thousand PLN.
For 2021, the company's management board has a target of generating revenues of 259 million PLN and a net profit of 4.6 million PLN.
