MDI Energia, which implements large projects in the renewable energy sector, reminds that in December last year, auctions prepared by the Energy Regulatory Office were held - these once again concerned PV projects with a capacity of up to 1 MW, but also (in another basket) auctions were held for projects larger than 1 MW. Both auctions were successful, and the total guaranteed auction price secures the construction of large-scale projects with a total capacity of over 1000 MW.

- The results of the auction confirm that the process of developing the photovoltaic market, which started two years ago, is gaining momentum. The ERO has just announced the next auctions, scheduled for the turn of May and June 2021. The Polish photovoltaic market has become so visible in Europe that a growing group of investors is interested in it. The ending pandemic and systematically growing energy prices should soon cause entrepreneurs will boldly start making decisions about investing in independent / own energy production sources, and in this area, photovoltaic installations are the easiest and fastest way to get their own electricity - says Grzegorz Sochacki, president of MDI Energy.
